You are not alone. Imagine yourself surrounded by helpful beings. Every person is
gifted with a Spiritual Guidance Team as they walk through life. Guides are
spiritual friends who keep us company and assist us in maintaining perspective
and humor in our human travels (and travails).
Who are they? The adage “birds of a feather flock together” applies to your
guides. You attract guides who have something in common with you (just like your
friends). They share your interests and goals. Guides come in all guises. Some
guides do not speak at all, but bring you a certain vibration (such as confidence
or patience). Other guides help with creative projects, relationships, health and all
other aspects of people’s lives.
How do we relate? Just as we have friends and family whom we consult for help,
we can also use our guides to fill in gaps in our understanding. Your guides serve
as a “spiritual committee” of advisors and witnesses to your thoughts, actions and
beliefs. However, you are the one in the power seat, since it is your life and your
decisions that must drive you through life. Their role can be to comfort, but not to
make the decisions for us. Just because the guide is in the spiritual realm, they
are not an authority over your choices. Let their greater perspective be useful,
filtered through your own wisdom.
In an intuitive reading, a guide can appear suddenly, usually with a relevant piece
of information or an opinion. A true guide is there to supply you with support so
you grow and they help you achieve your goals in life.
You have contracts with your guides. They are there to help you navigate your life
plan. Their usefulness in helping you achieve your goals is how they themselves
achieve growth. This contract can be renegotiated, (as any contract can). You can
“fire” a guide if he is not helpful in the way you need. You can ask for another
guide better matched to you by clearly stating your intentions.
Guides also can let go if you are changing your direction in life and they can’t help
you on the new path. Just like with people in your life, the relationships with guides
change naturally.
An intuitive reading reveals the presence of your guides and it is helpful to know
your “spiritual team”, how they are helping you, and how to communicate with them
to bring even more purpose to your relationship.
